Jonathan holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Earlier in his career, Jonathan was an associate at Kleinbard, Bell & Brecker, a boutique labor and employment law firm located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before becoming General Counsel to Seniors Management- North, Inc., a skilled nursing (including pediatric units) home and pediatric daycare administrative services company, which oversaw facilities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida and the District of Columbia. As General Counsel for over 20 years, no issue was outside his catchment.
In particular, Jonathan spearheaded the company’s labor and employment efforts. He first chaired union negotiations, responded to organizational campaigns and strikes, managed the grievance and arbitration process, and handled general collective bargaining agreement administration. Often providing guidance before job actions were taken, Jonathan managed the process at the root level, resulting in only minimal arbitrations and unfair labor practice charges.
Equally involved in managing all types of employment and wage and hour issues, Jonathan's approach eliminated or greatly devalued potential claims at their incipient stages.
Now operating his own HR consulting firm, Jonathan applies his proactive approach, assisting you in reaching your HR goals.
